Foodservice operators often require culturally valid supply chains. For example, where there is a need for certified religion acceptable products, clients must be certain that the ranges offered by recommended suppliers are appropriately accredited.
The epsys trading platform places a series of flags against products/suppliers which are considered to provide goods from appropriately certified sources. This may be extended to include flags relating to specific products where it has been demonstrated that the product complies with a recognised certification.
- Specific cultures require the comfort of knowing that food items are being sourced from ,or being prepared by, suitably qualified suppliers.
- Specialist cultural suppliers, are identified on the epsys e-trading platform by flagging products which meet the cultural requirement.
- Clients are able to demonstrate that they are purchasing products affected by any specific cultural demands from appropriately certified suppliers.
